Jade A. Craig joined Bleakley Bavol & Denman in August 2018.  Mr. Craig primarily focuses on general and complex commercial litigation, construction litigation, and labor and employment law.  His practice also includes intellectual property matters, including preparing applications for federal trademark registration and trademark infringement litigation.

Mr. Craig was born and raised in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.  He graduated from the University of Virginia in 2006 with a degree in French and Political and Social Thought.   After college, Mr. Craig joined Teach For America and taught kindergarten in the Mississippi Delta for three years.  He is very proud that his oldest class of students will start graduating from high school in 2019.  After teaching, Mr. Craig continued his own education at Columbia Law School and he served as the editor-in-chief of the Columbia Journal of Race & Law in his final year.

Upon graduation, Mr. Craig served as a law clerk to the Hon. Damon J. Keith of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit in Detroit and the Hon. Carlton W. In his free time, Mr. Craig loves to spend time with his family and close friends, find conversation partners to practice his French, and watch documentaries.
